Parent guidance specialist and expressive arts therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience. Works with parents, children, and adolescents at IsraClinic, combining structured parent guidance, expressive arts therapy, and evidence-based psychotherapeutic approaches. Completing a Master's degree in Art Therapy (MAAT) at Tel Hai College.
Lihi Givol is a parent guidance specialist and expressive arts therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families in both public and private settings.
At IsraClinic, her primary focus is parent guidance — structured therapeutic work with parents to support their understanding of their child's emotional and behavioural needs, improve communication within the family, and develop practical strategies for managing difficulties at home and at school.
Alongside parent guidance, Lihi works directly with children and adolescents in individual emotional therapy, using expressive arts methods — drawing, creative play, drama, and other non-verbal modalities — to help young patients process emotional experiences, develop self-regulation, and build resilience. This approach is particularly effective for children who find verbal communication challenging, including those with learning difficulties, attention disorders, and autism spectrum presentations.
Lihi holds a Master of Arts from the University of Haifa in Interdisciplinary Child Development, completed with highest honours (2023). She is completing a Master's degree in Art Therapy (MAAT) at Tel Hai College (2024–2026). Her clinical training includes a Certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy with a specialisation in Drama Therapy from Tel Hai College, couples counselling and family therapy training at the Barkay Institute, and NLP facilitation certification.
Her clinical practicum included work at Shaalvata Psychiatric Hospital in a semi-closed adult psychiatric ward — providing both individual and group expressive arts therapy with patients in complex psychiatric presentations.
Lihi's therapeutic approach is integrative: she draws on psychodynamic principles, expressive arts techniques, CBT-based goal-oriented methods, and coaching, tailoring the combination to the specific needs of each child and family she works with.
Consultations and therapy sessions are conducted in Hebrew and English.
