Licensed psychologist and specialist in medical psychology at the expert level, with over ten years of clinical experience. Senior EFT therapist, licensed hypnotherapist, and specialist in trauma, chronic pain psychology, and anxiety disorders. Works at IsraClinic since 2016.
Ilana Gurevich is a licensed psychologist and specialist in medical psychology at the expert level, licensed by the Israeli Ministry of Health. She brings over ten years of clinical experience across psychiatric, oncological, and pain medicine settings, combined with specialised expertise in Emotionally Focused Therapy, clinical hypnotherapy, and trauma-focused approaches.
A senior EFT therapist, Ilana trained under the supervision of Prof. Les Greenberg — one of the founders of Emotionally Focused Therapy — in the context of a clinical research programme at Bar Ilan University (2020–2023). This advanced training positions her among a small group of EFT practitioners in Israel with direct research-based supervisory experience at the highest clinical level.
Ilana holds a separate licence in clinical hypnotherapy (Licence No. 52092) and is one of the specialists at IsraClinic responsible for clinical hypnotherapy assessments and treatment. In accordance with IsraClinic's protocol, hypnotherapy is only initiated following full psychiatric assessment and a specific clinical recommendation.
Her clinical background includes work as a medical psychologist in the Pain Clinic at Assuta Hospital, Ramat HaHayal (2015–2021) — providing psychological support for patients with chronic pain conditions — and in the oncology and thanatology unit at Beit Zion Hospital (2015–2017), working with patients navigating serious illness, palliative care, and end-of-life processes. She also worked as a clinical researcher at the Tel Aviv University Laboratory for Anxiety and Trauma Research.
In 2025, Ilana completed training in Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) — a neuroplasticity-based approach for the treatment of chronic pain — at Mibereshit Campus. Her therapeutic training also includes ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), See Far CBT (a trauma-focused CBT protocol), biofeedback, relaxation and guided imagery, and narrative therapy.
Ilana's clinical work is characterised by an integrative approach that draws on evidence-based methods adapted to each patient's specific presentation, history, and therapeutic goals.
Consultations and therapy sessions are conducted in Hebrew and English.
